A photo will be taken in the spring of 2013 (no snow, no vegetation) to try and replicate this photo and to confirm the following assumptions: 1) The C1910 photo was taken from approximate coordinates: 46°30′12.91″N 81°00′33.16″W, elevation 908 feet above sea level. 2) The road in the foreground is Dupont St. - rear of present day municipal address 374 Dupont can be seen in foreground - front of present day municipal address 383 Dupont can be seen in foreground 3) The wide road on the right is Jean St and the white Church (became site of new All People's United Church in 1929) seen in the distance is on the SW corner of Jean and Antwerp. 4) The 2-story house in middle of photograph, 4th house to left of Mont St-Joseph, is the end house on Eva Avenue.

This photo was taken in the late 50's when the terminal built in 1939 (and used as a terminal until 1949) was being used as the Administration building. Technically, the photo isn't a very good one but I scanned it as it's one-of-a-kind.
The American Hotel or New American Hotel is on the near right. The Hotel Coulson was built on this site after The New American Hotel was destroyed by fire for the 3rd time in 1937.
The Trader's Bank building is behind the first hydro pole on the left. Trader's merged with The Royal Bank in 1912.
