Pete.t Hi sorry for the late response , I have not looked at my panoramio for months, I just came across your comments (and someones on my flickr from about the same time) Thanks for the comments it's inspired me a bit I may start up again. I have been looking at your photos, I'm very impressed, you have some great colours and contrasts, your framing and composition are excellent. Great subjects and variety and places.(envious) I've never added or tried to add a 'favorite' before, but if I work out how to do it you will be number 1 (It's got to be simple) Look forward to seeing more. What lens do you use?

PS. A Black Watch Regiment and later an American regiment were based at Gaddesby (Paske) Hall.

Sorry but I don't have a clue I suspect it was something to do with either flooding or emptying the Anti-tank ditch thar ran round here. That pillbox most likly covered a footpath. Check the map I have made you might be able to make more sense of it from that. I suspect it was a type 28 twin but as to how it was distroyed I could not say but most of them in the area show signs of being used for target practice.

Afraid so though I did not look at the vent.
