Yes so sad that because of us tourists big changes for nature but of course for the people it has probably changed their lives. I came here in 2002 and it was already very populated

There is a place on the other side of the lake where you can take a mud bath and then take a dip in the lake to wash off. Well it was like that when I was there in 1999. Quite sad I will not be able to go back for a long while.

on beaches in India the dogs run in packs and can be quite dangerous. suggest walking with a stick at night as a dog bite in some places in India is not a very good idea.

this was only a dry lake when they emptied it out as they do every ten years I think it is now at its full glory. this reservoir is man made when they empty the water our elder generation rediscover what was there before. Farmers, landowners etc sold the land so that this reservoir could be made to bring drinking water to the region. It was great to walk around in 2006 and see what was there before as you can still see a road with the tarmac still in good condition, you can also see the foundations and what is left of stone ruins imagining what it was like before and a good walk. this I was told by the people I know in the area. It is really a great place and a big change from big or even biggish towns complete calm.
