Ken & Janie Rowell's conversations

Russ, GE does have a 'time' slide. It only goes back to the year 2000 for the Knutsford area. If you download the latest version that was put out in May 5th 2009 (build 5.0.11733.9347) try to update your GE and that see if it shows any changes within your area. I'm not sure how Panoramio would cope with more & more peoples photographs added as the years goes on. Glad you enjoy our photographs.

Dear Ken and Janie,

I work for an organisation who are opening an NHS dental surgery in Egremont and would love your permission to use your picture of Egremont castle to give the surgery a community feel.

Please contact me at sunny.sharma@oasis-healthcare.com to discuss.

Kind Regards

Sunny Sharma

The nearest house is ours! We'd only moved in about a couple of weeks before this photo was taken. A beautiful place to live.

Have just found my great grandfather WILLIAM OLIVER (OLIFERS) bn to ELISABETH OLIFERS 1st Mat, 1824 in Rochester. WILLIAM married MARGARET PROUDLOCK at Elsdon Parish Church Jan 2, 1847. On his married certificate he gave THOMAS ROBSON as his father. ELISABETH'S husband JOHN died on the 21 November 1822, two years before WILLIAM was born. I know there are many OLIVERS, PROUDLOCKS and ROBSONS in this area of Northumberland. Would love to hear from anyone remotely connected. Am putting together a memoir entitled FLOWERS IN MY FATHERS GARDEN and am look for a means to confirm what I have learned about this part of the family! Am also looking for suggestions!
