This is a great looking hotel. It has so many original fittings and rooms. Like stepping back in time.
It is just a shame that such an old and magnificent building is allowed to rot away like this one. Weedy trees have been allowed to grow around the street facade and the rear section is derelict and falling down.
I hope one day that it gets saved.

I knew Jimmy quite well a few years back, and rode a mile or two on horseback with him out through the paradise Hills, Ned and Brian and a few other characters from Peterborough. They were happy days.
They just don't make 'em like Jimmy any more. Pity...
