Former Local Government Officer. Interested in bringing people together. Have spent over 40 years undertaking Genealogical research. Interested in Photography and up to recently very much involved in Community affairs. Now (2016) aged 77 with 4 married children and 9 grandchildren. Strongly supported by my wife for 50 years. All my pictures with the exception of the panoramas and a few specials were originally sized to 1680 x 1050 pixels and you are welcome to use them just for your desktop, the more recent are now being sized 1920 x 1080. In many cases I take more than one, so if you would like to see others, do let me know by clicking on "send private message" below, or email panoramio@audcent.com. Recently, I have loaded some vertical ones, sized to postcard for printing, these are obvious as they are always vertical.

Inside the new museum, the picture is setting out the sculptures between the metopes on the Parthenon. Those in white plaster are held in the London and Louvre museums, those in marble e.g. the one closest is an original held in the museum.

Another view from the South East, we were pleased to see the geese enjoying the sunshine.
My wife and I spent a short time visiting this lovely house and setting. Only enough time to see the exterior, & Sculpture Garden. Well worth a visit, we will return.
This photo taken on 18th March 2012, at which time I said the following: Taken on the same depressing Sunday, the fenced in part is the now dry bed of the river (Hughenden Stream) once full of wild life, reflecting the trees, an idyllic country scene, and a watering hole for cattle. I hope someone has a photograph to show it as it used to be! I am delighted to say that the stream is now back to normal (April 2014) and I shall include on this website a photo of this same spot as it is now - let us hope no one else is permitted to take water from the stream.
St Mary's Church set in this delightful village, called after Prince Llewelyn's faithful hound "Gelert" who was wrongly accused of killing a child. The dog's grave is a few yards behind the photographer with a sign telling the full sad story.
A view from the bridge adjoining the lily pond, a very restful spot in the garden.
Interesting to see the large quarry where the pink sandstone originated - I understand it was used on Mainz Cathedral. In the background Sooneck Castle.
