During WW II Fort Del Morro was used by the United States Military ... this view is from one of the observation posts added to the architecture of the facility.

The view port is less than one foot high and covers some 200 degrees of field of view

This was shot at about 1015 PM

When I tripped the shutter there was no vehicle in frame. One came from the left at the front of the frame and one came from behind me to the right.

The shutter was open for about 25 seconds, ISO is 3200, exposure bias is + 2/3 EV, apeture 5.6

Mercy Medical Center ... now known as Springfield Regional Medical Center ... Fountain Campus will be closing ... after some 50 plus years it will cease operation as part of a merger.

A new facility is being built but the memories and passions of this facility are going to be missed by many .
