Entrance to 'The Boyle' from Elmwood Lane.

This is the entrance to Birkwith Cave. Popular with school trips and apprentice cavers. It begins with a long crawl along eroded bedding planes. Great fun if done properly.

May I suggest the title "Former Scar House Reservoir Railway Fitting Shop" ?

As far as we can tell is says

This gate is currently off it's hinges, and needs to be lifted out of the way. The trouble is it's in a huge puddle!

In case you are wondering what this is on Google Earth, I think it being used as a haystore, but I could be wrong.
