I received my Master's of Art Degree in Art, with specialty in Photography in 1980. I followed my degree with odd jobs in photography and at one point I was the in-house photographer at Paramount Pictures Studios in Hollywood. My heart and passion has always been with art/art photography. But at the time, finding buyers for art photography was very hard. Many people felt photography was not an art form. I began to paint and slowly, mostly out of financial concerns, I stayed with painting, and let photography fall by the wayside. Not until digital photography came along have been able to get my passion back. Panoramio and Google Earth have helped me realize my true love.
I have also gotten my passion for Los Angeles back also. Picking up the camera and going for walks in areas that at one time I have only passed by or driven through has allowed me to take a closer and more appreciative look at this amazing city. I had become bored with Los Angeles. But, by taking a second look at it, I am find it quite a unique place.
Thanks Panoramio and Google Earth.
