Would have been a Nic Cage stinker that no one knows the title of... :-)
Nice photo, but it's in Joondalup, not Currambine.
Allow me to add a little information to your photo. This high point above Neiafu, is a significant landmark wrapped in mythology, and history. Its flat top (before being tectonically uplifted, it originally was a patch reef in the tropical ocean) is the subject of mythological conjecture. A Samoan tevolo or night spirit, we are told, attempted to steal the original summit peak, but was tricked into believing the sun was rising. The removed peak was dropped in the harbour and became Lotuma island, a small island just SW of Mt Talau.
The highest point on Vava'u is to the west of Talau near Longomepu, Mo'ungalafa 186M. Talau is 131M. To the SSW of Vava'u is the volcanic island of Kao and its summit is 1046M. Another higher summit is Tofua at 504M.
Manta raya :)
Qué gracioso nido. Qué increible que hayan ustedes visto las etapas cuando rompieron su cascarón y se fueron.
¡¡¡Espectacular y maravillosa fotografía!!!
Nunca había oído hablar de esa ave. Está excelente...
That's Awash Rock just south of the Brothers Islands. I've fished and dived it, not for the faint hearted - Scott@zaccarat.co.nz
PS. I'll try and posts a pic of Cook Rock an even greater navigational hazard as it is under the water at high tide. It's a bit further north.
