This is the New York Life building, a highrise at the time of its construction in 1890 - the first in KC with elevators. Waddell & Reed was located there until 1971.
When was that, following segregation, I mean? I remember going to this theater as a five year old in 1964-65. I saw several movies. One I remember was Morrow Witchdoctor.
