Desmond Riordan For the most part my pictures are just snapshots of places that I have visited either for work or pleasure. My main concerns with the pictures are illustration and composition. However, I occasionally post pictures where illustrative content or narrative purpose play no part in the picture and, consequently, composition is all. These pictures should be regarded as arrangements of shape, tone and colour on a two dimensional plane. Often there will be the word 'abstract' in the title of such pictures or it will be included in the tags to indicate that this is their purpose. I hope you enjoy my gallery and I welcome constructive criticism and helpful advice.
