The rune stone original location is unknown. A rune stone in Hobro in Jutland aims probably the same men. Karl must have died in Hobro during a trip west, and travel companion Tore travelled as a memorial for him there and then another when he got back to the home district. Hobro located at the back of Mariager fjord south of Aalborg, on the east coast of Jutland. That the stone is a "drengsten" may indicate that Karl and Tore sailed their ship together with Danish Vikings.

The text on the stone reads: "Tore raised this stone after Karl, his partner, a very good man".

The rune stone was found in the foundations of the demolished church in 1881. It was restored in 1936. The inscription is from the first half of 1000 century AD, and reads: "Torgård put this stone after Toke, his son in law".

The Viking Age rune stone Karlevi stone is one of the top rune stones. Located in a field in Karlevi village in Vickleby parish. The boulder is originally perhaps from the Oskarshamn area. It was probably rose in the late 900s AD after a Danish chieftain, Sibbe the Good or Sibbe the wise, Foldars son, and stands on its original site. In a drawing from the 1600s shows that it was surrounded by two burial mounds. According to legend, the dead was buried in one of them.

The text on the stone reads: "Hidden is the one the largest acts followed, knew most, 'struggles Trude workers' in this high. Not to be an upright, fighting strong 'trolley-Vidur' on the sea-king huge land prevail over land in Denmark. "
