Hi, my main interest is cycling and the camera comes with me on most runs. I live in south Cheshire on the border of Staffordshire and Derbyshire so a lot of the photos are of this region. The bike also holidays in the Languedoc region of France so there are also many of the small towns and places of interest.

C'est ce que nous appelions le "Buffet d'eau". Dans les années 60 et au-delà, il était couvert de verdure et très en ruine. Il a été restauré bien plus tard. Nous venions chaque année pour peindre dans Villeneuvette et alentours: Henri Cadiou, Claude Yvel, Pierre Ducordeau et sa femme sophie,Pierre Gilou Thésonnier et son épouse Andrée, N. Leprince, Hubert Gaillard et son épouse,Janine Gouzy, etc.. Des amis artistes passaient nous rendre visite. Ce furent des moments d'exception inoubliables. Monsieur Maistre, maire du village nous avait accueillis à bras ouverts

Salagou and the surrounding hills are a great place to cycle and walk - not done any fishing there but beleive it to be great for carp? Hope to get canoe down next year. Photo taken about 20 mins from the lake and yes storms are awesome. Great to hear from someone else who loves region.
