thanks. Lucky shot. Didn't actually remember taking it. Found it on the disk after the trip. Discovered it was the south face of Annapurna by checking other photos of the south face carefully.
I'm guessing on the location (pic taken in 1999), but its one of those street corners, on the NW side. Please send me an email if you know and I will correct.
Abandoned only about 40 years ago when the Saudi gov insisted they move into modern facilities, separated from neighbors by high walls. Now under renovation.

The position of the photo is on Hwy 9, where I took the picture, during a stop of the tour bus on a day trip from the Century Hotel in Hue.
