Heath,
Are you by chance the Cairo, Ga Heath Barrett??????????? Drop me an e-mail if you are AWooten@Rose.net
I stumbled onto these pics while searching the web for info on St. George. My brother and I are camping there this weekend. Going to do some mountain bike riding and canoeing.
When the bridge went across this causeway, we saw the birds nesting. It was an awesome sight. I'm glad the new bridge took the traffic away from the birds, but I miss seeing them up close.
We discovered St George Island in 1989 when the old bridge was still a toll bridge. I have loved it ever since! I'm so glad I can go there anytime thanks to Google Earth. Thanks for the great pictures - I have many of the same in my albums!

Beautiful sunset with rays, greetings from Slovakia
Not trying to be rude, but those are not native to Florida at all, they are actually an introduced species, but they sure are at home here!
