You have to admire the architectural design and detailing (and prime location) of public buildings back then. This is a fine example. About six years ago one of our local POs relocated to a warehouse on an industrial estate.

The red building is part of the Wadlata Outback tourist centre, while the building on the right is the former St Joseph's Catholic School classroom complex. The University of Adelaide has set itself up in the former Central Primary School (my old school) about 150m downhill on Flinders Tce from this location.
