The chapel of A Toxa Island, dedicated to St Caralampio and the Virgin Carmen, was built in the 12th century. Completely covered with scallop shells, it catches our attention in the centre of the island. It has a modest interior and a certain sailor air.

The course is surrounded by the waters of the Arousa estuary, what helps providing this environment with an unequal beauty. It consists of 9 holes spread along a total length of 6122 metres. The Course dates from the late sixties and the facilities have been updated several times, with the pass of time.

The tranquillity of the course, the beautiful landscapes, the impeccable greens, tees and fairways, apart from the warm club house, make golfing in A Toxa Golf Course an unforgettable experience.

The sea represents the most valuable treasure of the village of O Grove. Everything circles around the Atlantic, which we meet on the entrance of the Arousa estuary.

The rich waters that surround O Grove have turned its fishing port into one of the most important of Galicia. Here we collect the best products to be auctioned every day in the fish market. You can stop by the open auction from 5 pm, Mondays to Fridays.

This inlet environment has been regarded as International Protected Wetland Area under the protection of the RANSAR agreement.

With every tide, the waters fill and empty the inlet through a small channel, formed by the Island of A Toxa. Quiet waters, not too deep, that make up an ecosystem chosen by a great variety of bird species that either spend winter in the area, or just stop by on their way to warmer places. Of special importance is the inlet of O Bao, where we can see species such as herons, curlews, mallards, ducks, and dunlins... among many others.

On the top of Mount Siradella, next to the viewpoint that shares its name, this interpretation centre will help us understand the importance of Nature in our past, present and future.

Around the room we’ll find the most informative display panels, pictures, bones belonging to species such as whales, dolphins... apart from scale models that will help us achieve a better understanding of, for example, the bateas (floating platforms for mussel breeding).

It departs from Point Moreiras, in front of the Aquarium of the municipality, and follows the coastline all the way to A Bodeira lagoon, next to Mexilloeira beach. A line of reeds encloses the lagoon, which is a shelter for migratory birds. The route goes back to the starting point through the narrow side-streets of Reboredo.

Located in the west end of the peninsula of O Grove, the route starts in Barreiro beach, continues southwards around the coastline towards the tourist housing of San Vicente do Mar. Then northwards and inland, we get to the parish of San Vicente to get back to the starting beach, to the coast. On this route we find the traditional washing point of Laxe, formally used thanks to the river water held back between concave rocks that originally named the place. We also find the picturesque place of Portoxunco and A Bateria (a military training area).
