This is such a fantastic photo of the windmill! We always used to walk up here from Boxgrove village after big Sunday lunches and always on Christmas or Boxing Day. I wonder if they've restored the inside at all? I haven't been there for 9 years!
This is the remains of an old monastery that was originally founded about 1115. It sits behind Boxgrove Priory church which was built in the 13th Century. As a child I spent a lot of time around here and the church has been used for most family weddings and all funerals. It is a beautiful piece of history and countryside.
