a Lecco non abbiamo alcuna piazza duomo, quella inquadrata si chiama Piazza XX settembre, in fondo, prima del campanile (edificio marrone) Piazza Cermenati

I will go back to Marengo as soon as I can so you will see more pictures. I was surprised too to find this grave where the great Desaix died, I was looking for the Vigna Santa because I knew this is the place. It is thanks to the 59th D.B.D.L. who put it, and if you can go there one day you will feel the same incredible emotion I felt when I was able to kneel in front of this grave. You need a lot of time to visit all of the Marengo battle site because it is very large..I will go back to find where the soldiers of the Consular Guard heroically stopped the Austrian Cavalry from surrounding Victor's soldiers who were in the village of Marengo. It is not easy to find but I will make it! I have just posted a picture of the church of Sant'Angelo, in Milan (Piazza Sant'angelo). This is where Desaix's funeral took place after the battle.
