Re purposing to be politically correct these days.
USBank has now Re purposed this residence into repossession and sale as a rental (2012)to a slum lord from the east coast. The property is rapidly reverting to it's 1998 look.
I only put 14 years of my "spare time" (I was a builder for 44 years) then 2009 came along with the depression (re-session) we are all still living with. Gas over $4.25/gallon,global warming, etc. ...
I used construction adhesive 3_1/2" deck screws and the form wood from putting a perimeter foundation under the existing garage.
Let them dry for 1 week then oiled with a mix of well used motor oil from my truck, Chevron Shingle Oil, Watco danish oil (dark walnut) for some more color (motor oil was not dirty enough)then thinned 50% with mineral spirits. 3 coats 2 days apart. This mix makes a great stain/finish for fences. If you use it on a deck let sit 2 days then wash with mineral spirits to remove any sticky's. Re-coat every 2 years. Great CHEAP stain, blocks UV well and repels moisture great.
