Most of my pictures were taken whilst walking in my favourite parts of the UK and Spain. Some were also taken locally of the Sheffield area to show its natural beauty. All of the pictures were taken on very basic cameras. I usually try to find a interesting composition or subject.

It's on St. Sepulchregate West, near the railway station.

I like how you can see all the layers of tarmac. Looks like stratified rock. LIKE

Cheers Neil. Always best on a clear day when you can see all the way to Wales. My favourite route is over the Roaches, through the woods via Lud's Church and then back via Gradbach upto Three Shire Heads but it depends where you start from.

Tonester49 - My late mother remembers walking to Keppel's Column for picnics in the late nineteen twenties/ early thirties and then you could climb to the top. Those Rockinghams at Wentworth had far, far too much money. Read "Black Diamonds" to learn much more about the Wentworth estate and its secrets. Great book.
