I worked building tent pads at Eric Lake & logged in many BC locations over a 33 year period and know tree species.The large trees in your pictures at the tentpad campsite are Sitka Spruce which I have seen grow to diameters as large as 17 feet.the trees at Eric Lake are obviuosly large so imagine trees that are more than twice their diameter.
