There is no Monroe Terrace in Madison Wisconsin However There is a Monona Terrace and that's this picture is.
Hello CKochmann, I would like to ask your permission to use this photo with credits. I would like to explain the reason more in depth via e-mail, this relates to a memorial to former Pokegama Inn owner Frank Becker, which I am working on. Please e-mail me firstname.lastname@example.org
Respectfully Yours, Dave
Thanks we may just do that instead of worrying about parking fees or so and limited time as it is wirth everything to see there and around may just take a shot from across street. Yea the statue is said to be in the grounds the College itself looks cool but not much time for it just at least see it from road and get a view of this awesome chapel. Many say ALton is boring, but the Haskell Playhouse is unique, Wadlow house, statue and museum, got teh cool house on Broadway if still there Lovejoys monument the first federal prison or so, also got teh cool downtowns, Gordon Moore park has a cool pound/little waterfall, also Riverfront fountain is cool the Great RIvers Museum gonna see that too also add Grafton/Elsah/Prinipia COllege Otterville School Perre Marquette Park . Hartford Camp Dubois, and Confluence Tower gonna be a awesome trip.
great capture CKochmann!!! Saludos, diego
Thanks just still boggs my mind you have a rest area like this or any attraction or historical piece of history, like Ravine,(didnt get to see) Modoc Rock Shelter (saw) Schuline Schoolhouse (saw) also didnt get to see but heard no signs for it Fountain Bluff, and few others we saw but bad finding it, just what found online or google earth, they dont have signs or acknowledgements taht something historic or old is there, its like having Grand Canyon and not having any signs for it, its just .. dumb. Want to draw people to your state, but you dont have signs or warnings that something historical is arouind or approaching is werid and dumb to me, like the Illinois Caverns i heard theres signs for it warning you, but we didnt, well did see one sign -> but that was all on kk rd not around burksville, and we didnt know we were at Caverns until last second we are like wow they warn u at the road, and before you realize your there u via past it. As Modoc Shelter you zip by it thinking its a big rock, and no sign, just crazy to me :( such great history and such awesome things, but no signs :( I dont get it. Like this you can see it and stop, but it should say a big mythical bird Piasa next turn or something you know?
Superman forever. Like 2
Err.... this should be taken down. This is /not/ the home of the Twins anymore. Target Field is. ;)
