Thank you for the kind compliment, Guillermo.
Beautiful place and capture! Greetings, Guillermo
Sorry, my Japanese is far from being perfect.
Reading the comments here, I got to be interested in this place - I searched and I found, The owner is Fran Tate - I heard her interview - her father was from swizz, and her mom was German, she was born in 1929. She was very poor in her childhood and lived in tent for 2 years because they were kicked out of their house. She moved to Berrow in 1970.
In her interview, she talks about barrow, she says in Barrow you cant have enemy, cause its an isolated area and only way to get in is to fly. If something goes wrong - the community has to stay together.
Sorry, if I wrote too long - I am from India and for me its strange to know the mentality of people from these area.
It's the old Union Terminal. I use to go there when I was a kid to see my aunt off on the train to Dallas, Texas. Huge murals around the inside. Beautiful, inside and out. At least they have kept as a museum.
I'll have to talk my spouse into letting me stay late at the next airshow. This is a gorgeous photo of a B-25.
As you can probably tell, I did not take this photo. My dad took the photo while in the Army Air Corp in Okinawa.
Thanks for the compliment and for inviting me to your group "Guns, cannon, and artillery". I've quite a few photos that haven't been posted to Panoramio yet.
I think the local high school kids did this. In some ways, it reminded me of some sort of Bronze Age art that I had seen in a movie.
Thanks, for the compliment...and for inviting me to join your group. Sorry, for my tardiness in replying. I have been on vacation with limited access to phone or internet. I know, life is tough.
