All you need do is BE there - and open your eyes..... I happily reside on the incredibly beautiful Southwest Oregon Coast, where Nature provides the most amazing views great and small, and more than enough detail to keep my macro eye endlessly enthralled. I use an older Canon EOS Rebel xt 350D with a 100-400 zoom for a variety of my images, and I always have with me an older Olympus SP-500 UZ or a newer SP-810 UZ for macro and standard images. I love making photographs and I totally enjoy the fine friendships I've made through Panoramio - a wonderful service for sharing photos and meeting people around the world. I have learned a great deal by looking at and enjoying other people's images, which I hope reflects in mine. Thank you all so very much. Wishing you peace in your heart and a warm fire! Many thanks to all the Groups that have invited me to join them, but... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Please . . NO MORE GROUP INVITATIONS - - I cannot keep up.

Suzi in Oregon's conversations

August 2013 war die Wanderausstellung über das Grab von Tutanchamun in Berlin, das war fazinierend. Ein Like und viele Grüsse, Mario

I know what you mean, Billy - I was stung by many once in Florida, though I don't remember. I was maybe four then - and they were very scary in Finding Nemo. But they are fascinating - sad to see them out of water. Thanks for posting such lovely new Glasgow images - very wow ! Hugs and thanks (O:

I think it's quite wet Suzi - now you see how we like to enjoy our summer vacation here in Europe. Nothing better that an agreeable and refreshing walk in a beautiful landscape.

Nevertheless Patricia - as I can see you made the best of. I like this play of smooth light and equalized colors.

Warm greetings from cold Bavaria, Hubs

Many thanks for your generous notice of this image, dears Hubs and Amelia - couldn't resist taking this one on that glorious blue sky day. There are a number of fine features in this recently renovated building - and I haven't really seen two sides of it yet! A treasure somewhat hidden behind the newly renovated Egyptian Theatre - a mere block away from the busier streets. I would like to see this view after dark - could be really interesting. Happy hugs from the foggy Bay (O:

da freut mich unheimlich liebe Gisela - wie s/w-Fotografie geht weiß ich nicht. Ich versuche nur, auf Linien und Strukturen zu achten. Manchmal funktioniert's, Hubs
