Great diagonals and vanishing point and good to see the railway back in use ~~~

I just added some research info, Waldo - I'm almost sad that this figure is being painted, though he (Ken Means - sculptor and painter) does a beautiful job of it. Thanks for stopping by again (O:
Thanks very much, Ken - an amazing fabric - squiggles the eyes - that I'll be wearing soon - rainy day sewing if the forecast holds. So pleased you stopped by (O:
I enjoy images like this one, Reto - they entice you to look closely, think and learn. I've never been up in a bell tower. Thank you for your visit to my gallery. I've enjoyed traveling through yours. Friendly greetings from the Oregon Coast (O:
Lovely reflections here Suzi.
All the best - Mick
Super photo Suzi, the light is beautiful.

Yes, dear David - very retro! Thanks for flying by - happy Spring (O:
It can rain really hard sometimes as moisture and heat are higher in the tropics, during the summer it frequently rains only over the city because the urban heat island helps to intensify the thunderstorms, it rains almost everyday during the summer (afternoon and early night) in São Paulo, but the countryside areas (where the dams and major rivers are located) have less rainfall, only large scale weather systems can bring widespread rainfall, but this year there were none so far, so we had frequent isolated storms in the urban areas and very litlle around it.
Our summer storms usually last for only 30 minutes or less, but can be heavy enough to cause flash flooding.
Have a great week, Lizab.
skida ~ Normally we can take the Central Line straight through from West Ruislip to Mile End and then change for Bow, yesterday we had to do the Metropolitan line from Chalfont & Latimer to Liverpool St etc which made a change ~ a trip we rarely make in any event. Of course you are spoilt for choice going Kings Cross to Liverpool St. Stratford these days has yet another Westfields to tempt. There is much redevelopment still going on around that area too. So above ground much is going on, whilst below ground the cross rail project is boring ~~~
