I spent three months in Kafr Chouba in 1978, as a Norwegian UN soldier. I arrived in Kafr Chouba 12th June 1978 and left 6th September 1978. Already then the people of the village had suffered a lot, but i remember them for their kindness and hospitality to us. I hope peace and prosperity can come to this village at last.
