Tom Severns
I'm a retired CPA, and I love to travel. My photos are my way of preserving a record of the what I've seen, and sharing my experiences with friends, with no pretense of of any artistic value in them - I simply shoot what I see, with the camera normally on an automatic setting, and if occasionally I take a really nice photo, rest assured it's mostly accidental. I also have photos posted at Picasa Web and Flickr. If you're interested in seeing them there are links on my website.

The fish with a ring in its mouth is Glasgow's emblem. For the story behind it see http://www.siliconglen.com/Scotland/11_9.html

me and my buddies have been here well after dark, about 1 or 2 am. Verry scarry if you want to take the foot trail to the house at night, maybe you will find a bigfoot.

Great shot, especially considering the lighting problem.

The kirkyard is the resting place of several Edinburgh notables including the economist Adam Smith, the philosopher and Smith's biographer Dugald Stewart, Agnes Maclehose (the "Clarinda" of Robert Burns), David Rizzio, the murdered private secretary of Mary, Queen of Scots, and the poet Robert Fergusson, whose statue in bronze by David Annand stands outside the kirk gate.
