I'm a retired CPA, and I love to travel. My photos are my way of preserving a record of the what I've seen, and sharing my experiences with friends, with no pretense of of any artistic value in them - I simply shoot what I see, with the camera normally on an automatic setting, and if occasionally I take a really nice photo, rest assured it's mostly accidental.
