✭ Jim Mills - (formerly "beamish boy") - A philosophical wanderer of mountains and wild, beautiful landscapes for many years. Now I hope others can experience a small taste of those wonderful places, at least visually in these mainly old pre-digital photos. ✭ As well as the outward journeys partially depicted in these photos, there may be detected an inner journey, influenced by these outer journeys. You, my fellow Panoramio friends and visitors, are all part of this greater journey that we all make. ✭ These are more than just photos, they are also a chronological documentation of my travels, where I live, and the passing of the seasons. ✭★ I now have a companion site at this link: ✭✭✭ PLEASE FEEL FREE TO VISIT MY EARLIER PHOTOS. (PAGES 2 - 35) YOU MAY FIND SOME HIDDEN GEMS THERE! ✭✭✭

Very Nice Capture :)

Many thanks for the YSL

Have a nice day..Marion

Thank you, Doru - and welcome to my gallery! It's always good to see an older shot suddenly pop up in the 'inbox' - to know that someone has taken the time to explore through my images (right back to the first page!) is very rewarding, and I'm pleased that you liked what you found when you got there. Best wishes to you from the south west of Ireland. Clive

nice batch from 1988 anything recent?

Vielen Danke Elmokula! My German is a little rusty, so I'll switch to English. The pipes don't fit into the scenery but many high water sources in the Alps are connected to the water systems used for the cities below the mountains - as you must know as a regular visitor (or maybe you are living around there?) to the Alps. I can see from your photos that you know about these places...

Best regards from Finland!
