JL Haigh's conversations

I'm very interested. The captain of the Baron Innerdale - who was amongst the massacred crew - was my Great great grandfather, John MacDonald Blair. I'm researching my family tree, so any info or photos would be really appreciated. Thanks.

LIKE. Un beau panoramique plein de couleurs.

Salutations de France. Jean.

LIKE. Superbe mise en valeur.

Salutations de France. Jean.

Yes. I was stood on the terrace in front of the villa.

Why thankyou kind lady; having had a brief view of your gallery I find this is praise indeed

regards From a Colne Valley ex-pat

could you possibly supply a little more detail please?

"Crowded"... I love it.

well I don't want to rain on your parade Tam but I am the guy in the black shirt, the guy in white is Jim Woodward who was site director at BERS and Mick -in the green shorts- ran the gas plant on the air base and did diving instruction at the water sports club. I confess I don't remember the big guy's name. Turtle Beach/Turtle Bay?? both terms seemed to be used interchangeably for various bits of the coastline. Don't recall a club house as such, we obtained our golf bats and sundry equipment from a lock-up shed.

thanks Pete; it was a spectacular day, 'Photoshop' handled all the tricky technical stuff -all I had to do was climb the mountain. John

No; actually it must have been about 4 or 5pm, It is one of series of shots starting with a faint plume of cloud on Pillar to complete white out in the space of about 5-10 minutes
