As a high school senior at ACS in La Paz, my friend Rolando and I rode rented mo-peds all the way up Chacaltaya to the ski resort. We had to peddle and push the remaining stretch of some distance. We were tired and hungry but the only thing the caretaker had to eat was saltine crackers, so we ate them then coasted back down the mountain. What a memory!
