And I'm afraid these old paintings are fading away too fast, literally and figuratively. You got a nice angle on this one. There are several buildings near me in Mooresville that have these advertisements and have been 'restored' in recent years.

This stairway is all that remains of a two story quadplex. There were matching quadplexs on each side of this where the top apartments were swept away in the April 16th tornado that crossed through Sanford and Lee County
