Hi - I'm living in Middlesbrough in the NE of the UK. I'm semi-retired and have many interests such as mountain biking and photography, I'm interested in anything technical and currently I'm reading up on bridges. Just recently been mountain biking in the Lake District (June 2011).

Many thanks Stokesia. After taking this shot, I found someone on Flickr had taken one from the same viewpoint, but on a sunny summer day, so it must be popular.

It was a cold February afternoon and we were lucky to hit the beach just as the light was turning quite magical. Thanks Amelia for trawling through my oldies.

Thank you Diane you will have to have a go at these.

Best wishes to sunny Oregon from hot and sticky North Carolina

Congratulations..L

beau paturage... j'espère que le fromage est bon, L

Good to hear from you again, crvzr! Glad you like this one. I've heard that the reason for these red roofs is so that one can find one's way home when there is 10ft of snow!

Best wishes, Brian.

Good question Barry - I just did a quick run through and checked but not find it, so I am concluding No on that basis I can' turn it on. However I only shoot in RAW these days and then adjust everything in Lightroom after where I use the histogram (I would be lost without it).

Take your tripod down to Scarborough.... they are VERY friendly and you'll have a ball. But it ain't this bright!

:-)

I love researching locations, so it wasn't a criticism, more of a compulsion!

David

Thanks for your comments Alireza - appreciated !
