Pombal es un pueblo de portugal central, cerca a La Ciudad Universitaria de Coimbra (aproximadamente 35 min. en carro).
El Castillo fue construido por un Templar que se llama Gualdim Pais en ek siglo 12. "Pombal" quiere decir "Paloma" em portuges.
Como ya sabes probablamente, el Marquis de Pombal tenia algunas propiedades alli y es alli donde murio despues de muchos anos en Lisboa.
Que interesante que tu familia se encontro en Guatemala. No se de donde viene el apellido. Mi esposa tambien es Chapina, pero nosotros vivimos en los Estados Unidos.
