The buildings have now been relocated elsewhere in Kalgoorlie. A school mate of mine (Doug Krepp - #1 Ward St, eventually bought the two blocks - #23 & #25 and built the existing Tavern. Kevin

No worry we all see things as we want don’t we?
My brother in law owned Yunda in the ‘70’s and I jackaroo’d for him from time to time. Great country to explore although the mining has changed it all now.
The woolshed pic was known as The Granites Woolshed. My site has a sheep dip and water tank pic at the same spot. There was an old limestone pub across the road (-east)until about the '80's. It had gone on my '93 visit.
Have just added today a couple of pics out east of the station. Bald Hills yard - just south west of the sign you have in your shots.
By the way it is spelt Yundamindra but this has been debated from time to time.
My brother in law has since passed away and taken a huge amount of info with him. Such is life.
Enjoy

Fab memorable photos!
Beaut photos in your gallery of the outback! Cheers, ~Lex
It is many years since I have been inside the York Hotel. I might have to have a squash there next trip and admire this staircase in person.
This is impressive. If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a noise? I bet this did.
