Greg Willis's conversations

There might be two issues in getting from Calakmul and Tikal. 1) No roads or no roads that you could bike on. Depending on the time of year there might be a lot of mud and all year around the paths are just cut through the jungle leaving the base of the small tree still in the ground. It might make for numerous flats. 2) There might not be a border crossing in that region so you might end up in Guatemala without a passport stamp, which might be an issue when leaving the country. It sounds like a great trip - I'd love to see your photos! -Greg
