Retired to Livno a small town in Western Bosnia, 99% pictures in this and in my flick r link are taken with a small bridge camera ( fuji ) so can't wait to get a Canon EOS 5D Full frame jobby. While waiting I bought myself a Sony alpha 230 which uses all my Minolta lenses and a M42 adapter and T-Mount adapter so I have about 25 lenses I can use.

Hallo Brent, yes twins (non identical) and one of each - I will have to get used to that remotely as I am unable to travel over to see them yet..! names are girl - Kashmala and boy Muhammad Sadiq which is from the husbands religion my daughter has married into - they gave us a scare with the boy who had to have a lung punctured to release stale air as being born pre-mature by one month the lads lungs were still forming - anyhow they all look great over in Watford England and I am very proud of both of them. Hope it is good news all round for you and the family

Best regards Brian

Thank you very much, for views and visits, best wishes, Bedri Akçay

You are most certainly welcome Brian and CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming blessing. I will pray that mother and child see safely through. Good luck with your landscaping, if I lived closer I would always be willing to lend a hand. As always peace be with you, my friend. I hope your next few days are full of happiness and warmth.

Brian, just wanted you to know I posted my pictures of the hawk.

Thanks Brent, I have had a dear friend and his lady wife stay for a week in Mid-April...the revelation was that he had a Canon EOS 400D which alongside my Fuji s5700 bridge camera has shown me what I can do if I make that sort of leap up, I have acquired some 20,000 images on a combination of bridge cameras/phone cameras.......I would say that around two thousand are well thought out and could hold their end in a competition the remainder are just records of that moment in time..! I think I have begun to understand the framing and thought that is needed in each maybe a new camera could b I have to convince the wife...... Looking across the river I see a fantastic blossom tree (I know not which) - I will take a look at the Cherry Blossoms on your pages. Best regards Brian

It does deceive Patty - it is about 18" in height (45cm)but what struck me was the marble like colours of the foaming water. Thanks

Brian, another very nice shot. The branches in the foreground add great perspective. Well done. Best regards, Patty

Brian, I am so glad you enjoyed your visits to Canada. You will have to make the trek to Niagara next time. Thank you for the link to the other photo. It also is a wonderful shot! Patty
