É a cidade europeia das bicicletas. Quando estive em Amsterdã, fui informado que anualmente são retirados dos canais centenas de bicicletas que são descartadas pelos usuários. Neste foto vê-se que todas estão amarradas com correntes.

This is obviously taken during a winter storm but I have never seen those structures and I have lived on the Island for 35 years. Might be something left from Hurricane Ike. That was a devastating storm.
