This is actually the Dominos Sugar Refinery in Old Arabi. It is Dominos largest and over 100 years old. I can see it from my backyard. A nice old photo.

I lived upstairs in this duplex from 1959 to 1971. I was 12 years old when Hurricane Betsy came through in 1965, and we weathered the storm in the basement, where the hurricane effects were dramatically reduced. The house is several feet higher than its neighbors, and the upstairs moved noticibly with the strong winds!
