Pietro Gazzola's conversations

After the first petition with 10.500 signatures, in June 2015 Google declared that "Panoramio will stay alive". Now just one year after that statement, they decided to close Panoramio forever. Step by step they destroyed their own platform !!! Google – Earth, User’s Statistics last year suffered a nervous breakdown ! Any sense of credibility and justice is totally lost, together with our work !!!!!!!!! In a normal & democratic world, this isn’t fare comportment.

We can still fight for the preservation of this platform! The address for your protest: Alphabet Inc. Attn Corporate Secretary 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 Email:

There is also our Latest Petition in, but recent history is proving, that only with petitions we can't do anything, if Google doesn't want to hear our voices & respect the hours we spent to create its empire.

In any case, there is a God, who is seeing all this injustice !

Dear friends the trip to Panoramio began on March 17, 2009 and ends on November 4, 2016. I am glad that I met so many friends Thank you all for sharing, my best wishes and a hug to everyone. I say goodbye and I'm sure we will meet on other websites. I'm already in Google+,500px, Facebook. Greetings from Volos Greece

Very beautiful picture! L+F.*

Thank you for sharing many years , with everyone of us, so many feelings and emotions. I loved the whole community. How can you get in a small cell computer a whole world of memories and emotions which are contained in the conversation of each photo, where we were all as one and one was the all community ?

I am from November 2008 and I thought Panoramio will be eternal. My best regards to you, dear friend , you are one of my favorite photographers and I wish you all the best in world.

Thank you so much to all my friends for your nice words and appreciation!

I joined Panoramio at May, 2011. And it was a great time with you! Thank you for sharing many years, with everyone of us and so many emotions. Community Panoramio was a great family and place where there weren't divisions based on gender, age or religion, but only love of beauty and love for Mother Earth. It was a privilege and an great honor to meet you and see the most different and beautiful places on earth through yours photos. Now, through our friendly communication each of us has many, many friends. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for every moment when I lived here. My kindest regards to you and I wish you all the best in the world.

I say goodbye and I'm sure we will meet on other websites...

Of course, I LIKE this photo.

I am very happy for your visit and your comments. Thank you very much for them. Thank you very much for your visit and nice comments! I appreciate your attention for your visit and your nice comments!

PS: It seems that Google management is finally decided to kill Panoramio in November 2016. I think that this does not give confidence in Google's reputation, in particular for future applications such as Google self-driving car.

Be certain that there is somewhere a poetic (immanent) justice.

Here my only final comment.

Best regards from Grasse, in France.
