Hello from South Africa. Thank you so much for these photos. I watched the 1993 Alive film and have read the book (in 1995) I was very touched by this story.

I have recently been privileged to watch the 1993 movie again. I would love to visit this crash site.

Is the fuselage still intact or is it part of the wreckage with the memorial?

The presence of branches in this picture,gives it a more mature look.To an extend as a church,it shows the love God has for nature.from the picture,one can be able to estimate the height or gigantic nature of the church. Also the incomplete photo keeps one in a suspense with the desire to see the complete picture of this building.
