Hello Hans
This photo was taken in July 1996. I was there with my old school Pangbourne College (13-18yr olds) doing a clean up around the area for 4 weeks. Was a great adventure including falling down a crevasse and landing on a snow bridge. Had a rope on at least. We did a lot of repairs on the hut you mentioned. I dare say theres a lot of our old food still there. British Army Arctic rations menu B. Got to love curried beef for 4 weeks since our esteemed leader forgot to vary the menu.
Regards
Dougal Thornton.
