I'm very happily retired and am lucky to live near the Thames and some big royal parks, which all gives plenty of photo inspiration. I'm finding photography has become my main hobby/passion - but it's very frustrating; I can never seem to reproduce the photo I have in my brain! But I'll keep trying. Panoramio is one of my happiest discoveries; such brilliant photos by supposed 'amateurs'! Au Revoir, _Brian_.

Thanks, Hans. Very interesting! The head of the ballerina Ellen Price and the body of the sculptor's wife. Methinks one would have to be pathalogically prudish to find this statue offensive. Personally, (and many seem to agree), I think it's beautiful. Despairing that it has been the target for so many vandals; I was unaware of that. Impossible to imagine what is going through the 'minds' of these idiots.

Best wishes, Brian.

Super shot! L&F. Hello, Jim. Hope you are well. Yes this has to be my favourite too. Superb light! I started off loving HDR but have cooled a lot over the months. There has to be a place for it, though, if done wisely; your photo has re-awakened my liking!

Best wishes, Brian.

Like very much. Bright and cheerful colours, attractive reflections in the water.

Best wishes, Brian.

Damned photographers! Methinks great shot though. He knows how to pose. L&F. The blue jeans and red jumper make a super impact. I love the expression on his face, gamin cheekiness! (Looks, too, like an expensive camera and flash unit).

Cheers, Brian.

Hmmm. Must be honest - L&F!

Love this one too, Hans. L&F. Am I reading too much into the chains, contrasting against freedom of yacht and dove?

All the best, Brian.

Thanks, Hans. I can see why this yacht is your favorite. Super photo, an excellent detail. Me L&F too. The figurehead is most unusual, an angel I think.

Best wishes, Brian.

Yes, Brian. This is the lighthouse I spoke. Oh, I `d love to be there ...

Best wishes, Hans

Oh yes, Brian. I love too this great Sailing ships.
