on Google Maps
Hi, my name is Miro and I am no professional mountain photographer from Slovakia. I decided to share not only my favourite mountain photos but also ordinary traveler photos from the visited towns or vacation places through Panoramio and Google Earth. But if you love mountains I would like to recommend you visiting my categories "DOLOMITES" and "SLOVAK MOUNTAINS" especially or to visit my website www.mirosabo.com where you can find the selection of my best photos. I hope that my gallery will help you to discover some beautiful places on our Earth. Thank you for all your comments.

Er, I actually thought it might have been Bassentwaite Jack. I know these lakes change somewhat depending on water-levels etc. Still a great capture. - Herb

Yes, rain is quite normal for Barrow-in-Furness Jack but with it comes the rare opportunity to capture a scene like this. Yes, very reminiscent of my own cottage window but in quite different weather. Love the standing lamp and lighting. Like

Greetings, Herb

Thanks Herb for your nice comment to this and a lot of other pictures. I really apreciate that very much. And it is indeed nice to see that those mills are good preserved and mostly by private initiatives. Other than I believe in your country, unfortunately our government doesn't contribute so much to those kind of initiatives.

And I'm really honoured Herb by the fact that you added me to your favs. Thanks and greetings,

Well worth looking at, at full size Jack. Nice subtle shadows of the fence. Another BIG like for this.

Cheers, Herb

And, why not! A warm reminder of happy holidays that really says it all.L

Big CHEERS from me, Herb

I shall try to think of this finely lit picture as I eat my Edam cheese tonight:) Another picture that I would have been proud to have taken, well done. L

Best wishes, Herbert
