Hi Yem,
We had a great time, and only suffered from problems beneath the Matterhorn when we were caught in a thunderstorm on the bare slope at 3000 m.
very scary!
Happy photography, yours are brilliant and very inventive.

Dear Kai-Ra-San
I am on a virtual trip from London to Australia, using the photographs in Panoramio to illustrate what is found on the way, going at a pace as if I was walking. I was hoping to make this photo Day 31. My aim is to contact the photographers, to ask them about what they see in their photograph, and by doing so, discover if within each of us there are common themes as to what we take, why we take and why we share online. It is in support of Gill Hick's Draw the Line initiative. She challenged us to draw a line, so I thought of the biggest one I could. You can find more on both the MAD for Peace group in Facebook (and who Gill Hicks is), and my To Australia by Click group. I like this picture because it is the sort of place that you have to go looking for. Then when you find it, it is so worth the journey.
If you wish to contribute your thoughts on this image I would be very grateful. Equally if you do not wish to be part of this perhaps whimsical journey I will respect your wishes and edit the log to remove your photo. With best wishes, John

Dear Rolf,
I am on a virtual trip from London to Australia, using the photographs in Panoramio to illustrate what is found on the way, going at a pace as if I was walking. I was hoping to make this photo Day 30.
I like this picture because it is of a remote location, it looks like you have had to travel hard to find its beauty and it reminds me that some things may be difficult to do, but they are worth it.
If you wish to contribute your thoughts on this image I would be very grateful. Equally if you do not wish to be part of this perhaps whimsical journey I will respect your wishes and edit the log to remove your photo. With best wishes, John

Dear Nimpo,
I am on a virtual trip from London to Australia, using the photographs in Panoramio to illustrate what is found on the way, going at a pace as if I was walking. I was hoping to make this photo Day 29. I like this picture because we have happy memories of it ourselves and your picture captures so well the wonder of the valley. If you wish to contribute your thoughts on this image I would be very grateful. Equally if you do not wish to be part of this perhaps whimsical journey I will respect your wishes and edit the log to remove your photo. With best wishes, John

Dear Czarny,
I am on a virtual trip from London to Australia, using the photographs in Panoramio to illustrate what is found on the way, going at a pace as if I was walking. I was hoping to make this photo Day 28.
