I was excited about being taken to the falls the day after Christmas 2009! I had read about and seen pictures of a beautiful place that I just had to see. I had planned to stay there a few days with my family to hike and shop. I left there, in tears, angry at the people and "system" that would allow, condon, and profit from such horrible animal abuse! I saw horses, donkeys, ponys, and miniature horses being painfully abused at the hands of the locals, ADULTS and CHILDREN! I suggest to them if they wish to profit from tourism they must treat their animals differently. I will never go back, unless I win the lottery and can buy it and shut it down to locals! I do not reccommend anyone spend a dime going here. PLEASE HELP THESE ANIMALS IF YOU CAN! If you can't, please don't spend any money there so maybe they will learn.
