Hopefully even better with blue sky. Making this kind of picture is not so difficult. Take a tripod, have your camera on B (or 5 seconds exposure) and shot one picture every 5-10 seconds during a Thunderstorm. After 200-300 pictures the chance to get one decent or excellent is very high. Digital camera of course recommended !

Thanks, jimble. This pic was taken the summer immediately before the Remembrance Day bombings; it was the 1st view I'd ever had of Enniskillen and it impressed me with its peacefulness. My homeland too, actually. I'm Ulster-born but now live in England. So pleased you enjoyed the shot.
