My goal is to provide relevant documentation, via the photograph, of places of interest on my travels. Not so much of the major landmarks (National Parks, tourist traps or other over crowded places), but of the many interesting places and views along the way. I am not a professional photographer (they will say “obviously”) or a stock photo mill, so I won’t be cutting into any of your incomes. In my opinion, the pros, and those looking for the “what’s in it for me” gig, should not be using, or posting to this site. I am, however, just a traveler that tries to see, and document, what’s along the “lines between the dots”. Yes, if you view my photos, there will be the occasional “Delicate Arch” or “Old Faithful” over taken, over posted photo (I just can’t help myself). But, I’ll try to avoid the photos “like every one else’s”. I’ll throw up the ones that you will hopefully be saying; “I don’t remember that when we went there” or “we need to look for that when we go that-a-way”. In fact, I look first for the popular places that I’ve been to on the Google map, then look where the fewest photos are shared and begin my upload. What I’m attempting to accomplish here, is to show that there is much more to see, and be aware of, between the Yellowstone’s, Grand Canyon’s and Yosemite’s along the way. If you like my pictures, great! If you don’t, there are thousands of others out there that are much better than any of mine for you to view… I’m not trying to win a contest. If you feel I’ve documented any photos in the wrong place on the map, feel free to let me know (if you can provide me with the correct location so I can relocate it). Please leave comments, in any case, if you like. I won’t promise that I will respond. However, I will take each into consideration. I will be continually adding photos.
